Colson Baker, or Machine Gun Kelly, is known for his distinct way of rappers. Baker was originally born in Houston, Texas U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents of English Scottish German descent. His early years were filled with adventure. Baker traveled along with his missionary parents. James Colson Baker was depressed and was unemployed when Sonia Alane, his mother had to leave the Baker family at barely 9 years old. Baker moved to Denver along with his father, and stayed for some time. Baker suffered bullying from other kids in the neighborhood due to of the poverty he had. When he reached sixth grade, Baker started to take up rap. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22nd, 1989 in Texas. The music he creates is a fusion of modern hip-hop, alternative and rock. Baker has released four mixtapes over the period between 2007-2010, prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper, who wrote lyrics with the velocity of a bullet speeding through the air experienced an explosive growth when at the end of 2011, Baker switched from self-released tracks to well-known label. The fame of this Cleveland rapper skyrocketed after he released his first mixtape at the end of 2011.
