Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania and earned a master's degree from University of Miami. Her professional journey began working at CBS Sports New York City as a video coordinator. She won an Sports Emmy while working for WTVJ-TV Miami. She also served as a reporter at WPLG-TV Miami, and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993, she joined ESPN and was selected to be one of the first anchors for ESPN2 when it was introduced in the year 1993. She was with ESPN2 up to the point that Fox Sports hired her. She returned to ESPN in 1999, and is currently the host of Monday Night Countdown.
